Great Resources

I'm finding helpful resources as I'm completing my homework assignment for this week. Here are just a few:

Take a look at the article by Nancy Sulla entitled "Teaching the Digital Generation"

http://www.cyberkids.com/
Parents and kids may like the child friendly atmosphere of this site. The site offers opportunities to read and view kid-published artwork and composition. Kids submit work to the site, as well!

This site is organized by administrator, teacher, parent and student. Each section offers helpful advice and tips from homework help to puzzle makers and lesson plans. My school pays for a subscription to the site, which allows access to educational Discovery Streaming Videos.

  1. Melissa excellent article by Nancy Sulla, this is a new generation, I will tell you that not only academia should be incorporating these modes of communication, but other institutions as well if we’re going to be able to capture their attention and better relate to their environment. However it does remain to be seen what innovative technologies will this generation bring to the table in the future, can it get any more technical than we already are?

  2. Future generations will inevitably be subjected to a more technical society. I do not see how the future would incorporate less technology. While some maintain that technology equates complication, I feel that usable and vital technology eases complication and provides simplicity.
